Oldlibraryman: #357.2 to 365.2

By 30th December 2017Mailart

I didn’t think I was going to make it this year with all the distractions I have had this month: too many parties at my house to get ready for and too many people to visit every day and ballets and plays and Irish dance concerts to attend. But I managed to finish several envelopes that were in the works while I did all my Christmas cards, wrote letters, and wrapped packages. And with these, I make an end to 2017.

I was born in Louisville, Kentucky, USA, in 1947. I was a classroom teacher of various subjects for 25 years before becoming a school librarian at which I labored for 18 years. I finally retired at the end of the 2015/16 school year, figuring that 43 years was long enough. I have been married for 48 years and have five children and three grandsons.

Well done Oldlibraryman, another year another 365 mailart pieces. What an honour to have seen it all happening!

This is a great finale to 365.2 as well. Such diversity of images and so many excellent pieces. I’m in awe!
