Last week my wife and two of my daughters spent four days at Brigham Young University Education Week. Between workshops, I visited the different art galleries on campus. I saw a lot of interesting pieces. One artist used a lot of contour lines in the backgrounds which I found intriguing. I did a few experiments when I returned home. Some of these I like; some are so so. But they are what they are.
Some mesmerising patterns here
I do like this series – specially the ones with contours and circles.
Yes to these! Contour lines are cool—so fun just experimenting with line shape color. Ah, ain’t life grand??
Thank you to all. I will be travelling for the next two and a half weeks, so I will not be posting until I return. I am taking envelopes with me and hope to get some of them decorated. Maybe I will try a few landscapes of the English country side or the Champs-Élysées, maybe not.
