I like to explore the creative possibilities with multi-media art. I challenge myself to think outside of the box and trust myself to create art that inspires me to continue on the journey of artistic exploration. I enjoy receiving mail art from fellow artists around the world who also speak through their creativity. 365 motivates me get into the studio everyday to see where my artistic spirit leads me.
I began by adding gesso to the paper with a spatula, followed by gesso over stencils. I then glued on various cutouts, cheesecloth, feathers, etc. I added gesso over these and then painted the piece with white acrylic paint. It was a fun and interesting process to create an all white card 🙂
Thank you for your reply. Your mailart is terrific! I’m getting so many Add&Passes lately, that I am using them to help me catch up on the 365. I started a month late and I’m almost where I want to be.
Gesso! I have never used it because I have sort of a fear of painting, but I think I have a little bit in a drawer. It could be dried up by now, but It would be fun to try.
