I’m very interested in this form of MailArt card and your answers may help. Is it sent in the US? Is it a flat postcard when mailed (no envelope), or inside an envelope? Will Postage in US be more than single standard 4 inch by 6 inch postcard (due to cuts possibly making it not qualify for machine readable rates)?

I mail my stuff to all over the world. This particular piece was mailed to overseas in the envelope. Currently the postage for airmail seems to be $1.15 and whether it’s postcard or envelope it’s the same price. (Of course additional weight will increase postage accordingly)
If it’s mailed within US, the postage for 4×6 PC, letter in envelope with various shapes and size are different postage and the rates can be found in USPS site. I use their calculator all the time. I hope this helps!
