Way back in February, for alphabet month, I rushed out a picture of Anemones in Sharpie on a survey returns envelope. Then Elena and I raised the bar for our alphabet month and all of the subsequent alphabet pieces were just so much better that I have really wanted to rectify that anemone for a while.
This is not an official alphabet month piece, it’s packaging for pencil sale that Elena has just made, drawn freehand by me in fineliner on cardboard, and coloured using Tombow pens by Elena. It was glorious to look at, even for the short time that we had it before it went in the post folded around.
Finally, as we reach the end of our (very long) alphabet month, I can finally relax and know that we’ve done the whole flower alphabet justice.
