Perhaps the longest Alphabet month ever, Andy and Elena finally deliver W for Watsonia Meriana, a species of flowering plant in the iris family.
We looked for ages as Andy was against drawing Waterlily because it reminded him of the sample pictures in Windows and we couldn’t find a satisfying Wisteria, even though it was a favourite of ours. Eventually we settled on Watsonia, which doesn’t seem a particularly interesting specimen.
Just good to have this show back on the road.
Very graceful. Some letters in the alphabet ‘month’ always pose tricky choices!
Definitely. It’s an unfortunate coincidence that the end of the alphabet, where you’re already flagging for inspiration anyway, tends to be full of letters nobody uses for anything.
