Having never seen Indian Blankets before in my memory (they are native to North America), I have to admit that the lines for this made no sense to me in Black and White. I couldn’t understand what this was supposed to look like at all.
But all this changed a few days later when Elena got her Crayola pencils on them. She lovingly separated the leaves from the petals and brought this whole thing to life. This is now my favourite piece in the series and the first one I really found difficult to part with. What vibrant colours!
Very proud of my wife and her awesome colour skills, which have come a long way since she first got into this colouring thing
I’ve not heard of them before either – striking!
