Elena is selling some things online and I’m doing the illustrations on the envelopes. This one was originally inspired by an image of a house on a hill with some gravestones on it, but as we’re sending to a complete stranger, Elena overruled those.
Lovely to have the Sharpies out again
Three cheers – I love the character of this one!
Indeed and great that these are envelopes that are all ready to go in the post – the “TO:” is there waiting for further inforamtion…..!
Yup indeed. This went in the post today in fact. It’s really motivating for me to post things off, as the main lot is staying until the end. It’s given me a bit of extra spark.
I also get a great kick when the postage is paid by someone else, so am really going to make this series by my alter ego “mailart sent which requires zero postage costs by me”. This includes eBay sales, return to sender, surveys, Freeposts and anything else that I may subsequently discover
Zero postage is a great theme tho’ less popular with Royal Mail I guess!
Ah but the Royal Mail will get paid. It will just cost me nothing. Mind you, I guess they don’t get paid for Return to Sender right?
I do intend to send a few of those “postage paid” envelopes for business returns. This should mean that a few businesses get to pick up the bill for our fun…
