I’m really liking this theme in your 365. How do you make them?
Hi Stripey! I stole the outline from the web. then printed 4 up on a page. I printed on cardstock. Then, I took one and used an exacto knife to cut out the dove, giving me the “hole”. I used scissors to cut out the dove on another to give me the pattern.
then, I look at images through the “hole”. I find one I like, put the pattern into the hole, remove the hole, trace with sharpie, cut on the sharpie line, and glue it onto one of my cardstock pieces. Sounds complicated, but really, pretty simple. Just sacrifice a couple of doves to create your jigs.
Not sure if that’s how the Queen’s Head series is done. Best way I could figure it out.
Loving the mailart cycle.
Thanks Sue for the wonderful explanation – I get it! It’s really effective. Might give something like this a go – there’s a great exchange of ideas on here :>)
